What to do to encourage Social Distancing
on your job site

COVID-19 is a serious virus.  In most areas of the US Construction is considered "Essential".  Social Distancing is the best way to protect your workers from spreading the disease.    There are steps you can take to protect your team.

Some Projects and companies ARE choosing to close sites for quarantine measures but it is not always possible for all projects to stop.  Many construction projects are essential to public transportation, infrastructure and housing.

SOCIAL DISTANCING is a term that means reducing the amount of physical interaction between people to help slow the spread of the disease.  It's not about stopping it - The reality is that COVID-19 won't be going away any time soon.

Some Steps for you to Follow:

1. Encourage Employees to Stay Home or Work From Home When Possible.

2. Limit Sub Trades and Non-Essential Personnel On-Site and Limit Customer Interactions.

3. Maintain Clear and Frequent Communication with ALL Workers

4. Encourage Workers to Stay Home if They Are Sick.

5. Get Creative with Virtual Meetings to Reduce Group Gatherings.

6. Improve and Increase On-Site Sanitation.

7. Keep Workers Isolated - Don't Share Tools & Equipment.

8.  Use Automated Sign In and Employee Tracking Solutions like DM1000 Headcount & Safety System.

9. Reduce Site visits and manage remotely using Live Site Cameras
